Laser modules for David Laser Scanner

David laser Scanner offer best performance in combination with a good laser module, noise is usually less and more controllable using the classic laser setup. It is more difficult to build up a god scanning setup using the laser line, but for small objects and very fine scanning it still the best solution ever.

The thinner, the straighter and the more brilliant is the laser line the better are the results with David laser Scanner.

Red and green lasers are about the same thickness, blu lasers are extra fine.

The red lasers are good for ordinary scanning, it is possible to achieve average results with a color camera and good results with a native monochrome camera.

Green lasers are optimal to achieve good results in combination with color cameras, they are also very brilliant and good for large size or difficult objects, eg. dark matters.

Blue lasers are extra fine and give best results in combination with a native black and white camera (monochromatic).

You can use any kind of laser with a monochrome camera, in this case the thinner and the more brilliant the better.

If you use a color camera the best solution is the green laser.
